Welcome to Hasan Kalyoncu University, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
Mechanical Engineering is a branch of engineering and science that includes studies to reduce technological and commercial problems to propose solutions to human and environmental issues through innovations. Our department, which has made it a mission to develop knowledge and direct humanity to new horizons, aims to educate students who have brought their intellectual inquiry skills to the highest level by effectively explaining and applying scientific methods to their students. Our department, with its experienced and knowledgeable academic staff, will shed a lifetime light on both the academic life of our students and their post-graduation business life. The learning and research process carried out in line with this quality education given in our department will ensure the development of not only individuals but also our society, and will make our country a part of the modern future, even the founder. In line with these purposes, our department provides its students with teaching and research facilities where they can carry out both their theoretical and practical studies, areas where they can produce innovative designs, and a study area focused on analysis and production. Thus, we implement an education approach that will not only provide an education limited to technical and scientific subjects but also help our students to solve the problems that may arise in their daily lives with an innovative approach.
Mechanical Engineering department, which is both a theoretical and applied education, provides its graduates with; offers the opportunity to work as an engineer and managers in fields such as industry, design, R&D, assembly, construction, manufacturing, and maintenance. Our engineers who graduated from our department will also have the opportunity to work in subsidiary areas such as sales, trade, innovation, navigation, and transportation.
Our students who graduate from this ancient Engineering will have a very privileged place in their working life with their self-confidence and determination.
